This blog is not intended to be a recommendation for curing or reversing Hashimotos Thyroiditis. It’s merely a record of what I have done as I learn what I need to heal myself as I follow the auto-immune protocol as laid out by Dr. Datis Kharrazian.
Tuesday 10 April
Breakfast
Lamb mince, spring onions, rainbow chard, salt, turmeric.
Supplements: 2 x adrenal boosters, vitamin D spray, 2 x vitamin C, 1 x B complex, 4 x Essential Parent Oils, 1 x nutrispore.
Gut health: 1 shot of Symprove
(exciting day today, took delivery of grass fed, organic meat delivery from Coombe Farm Organic Delivery. Looking forward to seeing how that goes)

Lunch
Homemade, slow cooked oxtail soup with small slivers of butternut squash and chard. I made this yesterday and left it in the fridge. It had congealed to solid. It’s a good sign that it contains the collagen and fats necessary for this protocol.
3 fat strawberries.

Dinner
Packed dinner of wild salmon coated in dill, rocket, little gem, cucumber and bit of carrot. Olive oil and salt. Apple

Wednesday 11 April
Breakfast
Last of the slow cooked oxtail soup with added chard, last of the butternut squash and more turmeric. It’s rather nice.
Supplements: 2 x adrenal boosters, vitamin D spray, 2 x vitamin C, 1 x B complex, 4 x Essential Parent Oils, 1 x nutrispore.
Gut health: 1 shot of Symprove
Lunch
This was always going to be interesting. It was my first foray into a meal outside of my control.
Chicken salad with lettuce, smidge of cucumber and asparagus and tomato which I pushed to the side.
Left there unsatisfied as the chicken was limited and no oil for dressing.
Came home and had an avocado, gammon and rocket with olive oil.

Dinner
Coombe Farm turkey breast. It was probably too much for one person (it was really, no probably about it) but I found a way to eat it all with leek, sweet white cauliflower sprigs and Brussel sprouts. Doused in turmeric, cumin and oregano with salt and coconut oil.

Thursday 12 April
Breakfast
Hake, leek, asparagus cooked in coconut oil with salt, with watercress and avocado on the side with olive oil and salt.
Supplements: 2 x adrenal boosters, vitamin D spray, 2 x vitamin C, 1 x B complex, 4 x Essential Parent Oils, 1 x nutrispore.
Gut health: 1 shot of Symprove
Lunch
Over large gammon salad (like way too greedy), rocket, watercress, red cabbage, cucumber, carrot, beetroot. Olive oil and salt. Apple

Dinner
Cooked duck leg meat stir-fired with spring onion, ginger, green beans, Brussel sprouts, turmeric and cumin in coconut oil.

Friday 13 April
Breakfast

Famished today,probably due to being up so long — had an avocado for a snack mid afternoon.
Dinner
Hake, spring onion, green beans, courgette, sweet potato (1/2), herbs and coconut oil.

Saturday 14 April
Breakfast
Hake and leek cooked in coconut oil with salt. Lettuce and beeetroot salad with olive oil.
Supplements: 2 x adrenal boosters, vitamin D spray, 2 x vitamin C, 1 x B complex, 4 x Essential Parent Oils, 1 x nutrispore.

Lunch
Chicken breast, leek, green beans, spinach and an end of lettuce shredded and added in too. Cooked in coconut oil with salt with added turmeric, cumin. Apple

Dinner
Avocado starter whilst cooking, Coombe Farm rib-eye pork steak, onion, broccoli, carrots fried in oil and salt. Steamed artichoke chaser! Dipped the leaves in olive oil and salt.

Sunday 15 April
Breakfast
Chicken breast, onion, red cabbage cooked in coconut oil with oregano and turmeric. Lettuce on the side with olive oil and salt.
Supplements: 2 x adrenal boosters, vitamin D spray, 2 x vitamin C, 1 x B complex, 4 x Essential Parent Oils, 1 x nutrispore.

Lunch
Pan fried (coconut oil) Loch trout, carrot, courgette, lettuce. Avocado on the side. 3 fat strawberries.
Supplements: 2 x adrenal boosters, 1 x nutrispore, 1 x iodine (I was taking iodine for a while, but I’ve read lots of reports to say it’s not always beneficial with Hashimoto’s so I stopped it. I then considered that I’d finish the pot)

Dinner

Monday 16 April
Breakfast
Small salmon fillet, spring onion, red cabbage, courgette, carrot cooked in coconut oil with salt. Avocado and olive oil on the side.
Supplements: 2 x adrenal boosters, vitamin D spray, 2 x vitamin C, 1 x B complex, 4 x Essential Parent Oils, 1 x nutrispore.

Increased dopamine boosters: 2 x mucuna drops, 2 x DLPA.
Lunch
Lamb mince, onion, part of a sweet potato, broccoli, turmeric, salt and oil. 4 small strawberries.
Supplements: 2 x adrenal boosters, 1 x nutrispore, 1 x iodine (I was taking iodine for a while, but I’ve read lots of reports to say it’s not always beneficial with Hashimoto’s so I stopped it. I then considered that I’d finish the pot)
Dinner
Chicken thighs, onion, carrot, cavalo nero, herbs, salad leaves and celery. Coconut oil and salt.
